Als klinisch psycholoog begeleid ik kinderen en jongeren die even vastlopen of wat extra ondersteuning kunnen gebruiken. Voor mij is het belangrijk dat je je gezien, gehoord en vooral veilig voelt. We vertrekken niet alleen vanuit wat moeilijk loopt, maar ook vanuit wat al goed gaat en waar je kracht uit haalt.

Ik behaalde mijn master in de Klinische Psychologie aan de Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2025. Ik deed ervaring op binnen het CLB, waar ik kinderen, jongeren en hun ouders begeleidde rond uiteenlopende hulpvragen. Daarnaast werk ik al jarenlang met kinderen en jongeren als animator en Chiroleidster. Daar leerde ik hoe belangrijk het is om met een open en speelse blik naar ieder kind te kijken: elk kind heeft zijn eigen karakter, tempo en verhaal.

In mijn begeleiding hoef je dan ook niet altijd precies te weten wat je wil vertellen of hoe je iets onder woorden moet brengen. Sommigen praten graag, terwijl anderen zich makkelijker uiten via spel, tekenen of creatieve opdrachten. Samen zoeken we naar een manier die bij jou past.

Kinderen en jongeren kunnen bij mij onder andere terecht rond angst en piekeren, eetproblemen of eetstoornissen, onzekerheid en zelfbeeld, emotieregulatie, sociale en emotionele moeilijkheden, ASS en ADHD. Ook ouders worden waar nodig betrokken bij het begeleidingstraject.

Naast psychologische begeleiding heb ik een bijzondere interesse in psychodiagnostiek. Ik volg momenteel het postgraduaat Psychodiagnostiek aan Thomas More en voer binnen het Paramedisch Centrum Leuven onder andere intelligentieonderzoek uit, bijvoorbeeld in het kader van een aanvraag voor logopedie. Ook voor een psychodiagnostisch onderzoek bij vermoeden van ASS of ADHD kan je bij mij terecht.

In mijn vrije tijd ben ik graag actief bezig. Lopen, fietsen en yoga zijn vaste waarden, maar ik probeer ook graag iets nieuws uit. Een marathon, naar Parijs fietsen of een paar lessen salsa? Daar zeg ik niet snel nee tegen. Al blijft een rustige avond in de zetel met Netflix minstens even welkom!
